Dove Cottage Open
The Alexandra Historical Society lease Dove Cottage from the Shire. After a grant was received it was restored and now houses many donated artefacts.
Dove Cottage, one of only a few original miners cottages left in Alexandra, is situated on the banks of the U.T. Creek adjoining Leckie Park. (Named after Dame Pattie Menzies family). The cottage will be open from 10 am to 4 pm for you to wander through as well as the garden which is looked after by our members.
We are incorporating this weekend with Victoria's History Week.
Come and maybe learn something of the towns history.
