Attiwell Garden

Welcome to Acacia Hill. This garden was established over 20 yrs ago and the current owners have put their stamp on the garden in the last three and a half years. They enjoy spending time in the garden and particularly the wonderful views to the Cathedral and Black Ranges .

The property comprises a beautiful mud brick home surrounded by over 2 acres of established mature ornamental gardens. Highlights include many established deciduous trees, a majestic wisteria arbor, huge vegetable garden and a stand alone orchard. The gardens align with the cottage style and invite guests to wander around under the shade of the trees and explore.

Being close to the bush comes with some issues like deer invading the garden and frost and wind are things most country gardens have to contend with. A new extensive watering system is a real bonus and helps us keep the garden looking its best.

Parking is available in paddock next to garden.

The Alexandra & District Open Gardens Weekend has been running since 1990 and these are some of the best reasons to consider coming up to Alexandra and the district this October.
