Gardens range from small, manicured town spaces to expansive country properties.

Visit the website https://alexandraopengardens.com.au/open-gardens/ page for listing of each open garden or the garden guide for information. On the weekend, each garden will have garden guides with the listings and a map of all the open gardens available to visit.

$5pp for each individual garden or $40pp for an all-garden pass. Cash only please as there isn’t any card payment facilities.

Entry will be via the QR code at the entrance to all gardens. At the first garden you will receive a wristband to make it easier for you and our gate keepers for quick access for the other garden visits.

You can also pay at the entrance of each garden (cash only) or purchase a wrist band for an all garden pass. 

Gardens love the rain. Check the weather forecast and dress appropriately.

Cancellation may occur due to Mother Nature, which may include floods or storms as examples. Check the event website or Facebook page for updates.  If you have an advance booking through Trybooking, you will be notified of the cancellation. 

There will be parking close by to each open garden. However, if the garden is popular, there may be a short walk from where you park your car.

No. Private transport is essential to see all the open gardens.

Some of the open gardens may offer refreshments. Check the https://alexandraopengardens.com.au/open-gardens/ on the website or garden guide for advice. There are refreshment options at each of the townships. 

There are public toilet amenities at each of the townships. As you are visiting private property, there is no access to toilets at any of the open gardens. 

No pets allowed, except for service animals.

Each Individual garden may have a mixture of grass, soft gravel and hard surface.

Most gardens are wheelchair accessible. However, please note that there may be soft surface paths, hill or slopes.

The open gardens are private gardens and have been designed and planted for the owner's enjoyment.

There is a mixture of both. The country open gardens may have dirt roads or driveways.

There have been many projects in the community that have benefited from the money raised from Alexandra & District Open Gardens. To date over $133,000 has been distributed since 1990.
